United Way of Laurens County is governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors and is independent of any other United Way organization. This allows us the ability to respond to local needs and reflect the priorities and core values of the residents of Laurens County.

"You live here, please give here" is a slogan we use to remind people who live in Laurens County but work in another county to send their pledge back to Laurens County. We recognize that most of our donors want to support the community in which they live and the agencies that may assist their friends, families and neighbors here in Laurens County.

If you pledge through another United Way, please speak to the Campaign Coordinator at your workplace and ask how you can designate your gift to United Way of Laurens County. Often the answer is as easy as writing the following information on your pledge form:

"Please designate my gift to United Way of Laurens County, PO Box 544, Clinton, SC 29325, (864) 833-3623."
